Terms & Conditions

Hi Otago families! We want your party to be amazing and safe. These Terms & Conditions help protect your children, your property, and our castles. By booking with Castle Jumpers, you agree to follow the rules on this page.

Booking Terms

Reserving your inflatable fun is simple. Follow these steps to secure your date.

  • Reservation Process
    • Select your favorite inflatable and contact Mike via Whatsapp to check availability.
    • Bookings are finalized once the required deposit is confirmed.

    Deposits & Payments
    • Payment in full 7 days before the event to secure the castle.

    Delivery & Travel
    • Free delivery is included for all locations within the Wanaka township boundary including Lake Hawea, Luggate. 
    • Outside the above area's will be a flat rate of $60 per hour to travel to and from covering fuel and time 

Cancellations & Refunds

Plans change, we get it. Here is how we handle cancellations and rescheduling to keep things fair for everyone.

  • Refund Policy
    • Full refunds are available if you cancel at least 3 days before your event.
    • Cancellations made within 3 days will receive a 50% refund.

    Deposits
    • Full payment required 7 days prior to the event to secure the castle 

    Rescheduling
    • You can reschedule your booking once for free, provided at least 72 hours' notice is given.
    • Rescheduling is subject to equipment availability.

    Unsafe Weather Conditions
    • In cases of high winds, heavy rain, or lightning, we may cancel for safety.
    • If Castle Jumpers cancels due to weather, you will receive a 100% refund or a full credit toward a yard hire on another date.

Damage & Liability

We aim to keep our equipment in top condition for all our Otago families. Please read these responsibilities carefully.

  • Damage & Repair Costs
    • The hirer is liable for all costs associated with damage or extra cleaning required due to neglect or misuse (e.g., silly string, pets, or sharp objects).

    Supervision Requirements
    • A responsible adult aged 18+ must supervise the equipment at all times during the hire period.

    Risk & Liability
    • Equipment use is entirely at the hirer's own risk.
    • Liability is limited to the extent permitted under New Zealand law.
    • Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.

Rental Policy & Safety Rules

Our rental and safety policies are here to keep your event fun, fair, and safe for everyone. Please read and follow these rules whenever a castle is set up.

  • Rental Policy
    • Hire period covers the agreed delivery and collection times.
    • The castle must stay at the address and position where we set it up.
    • Do not move, drag, or reposition the castle or any equipment.

    Safety Rules
    • A responsible adult (18+) must supervise the castle at all times.
    • No flips, wrestling, rough play, or climbing on the walls or netting.
    • No food, drinks, chewing gum, smoking, or face paint on the castle.
    • Shoes, sharp objects, jewellery, and glasses should be removed before use.
    • Stop use immediately if the castle starts to deflate and keep children off until it is safe again.

Liability & Waiver

As the hirer, you accept full responsibility for our equipment and agree to use it at your own risk. This means the hirer is liable for any cleaning or repair costs caused by pets, silly string, sharp jewelry, or face paint, which can permanently damage the vinyl. Please supervise the castle carefully, as you are responsible for any loss or harm that occurs during your hire period. While we operate under New Zealand law to limit our liability where permitted, nothing in this agreement overrides your essential rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
